Credit Cards, at first we get excited about them. We turn 18 get our credit cards and start shopping. The cards bring us great bliss, but then reality starts to set in. We get our monthly statements and start making the minimum payments that are required to keep the credit cards happy. But in the mean time we still go out; buy what we want until our card no longer is accepted, because we have met our credit limit. And for some people they learn the lesson quickly and get their spending under control, but for others it takes a while and then suddenly they realize that they have way too many credit cards, way too many payments, all their cards are maxed, and the balances are not going down. Then they start asking themselves, “How much will I repay with interest?”

Now the problem sinks in and we ask ourselves, “How do I pay all these off quickly?” Most of us have so much debt that it is hard to figure out where to start, who do I pay extra to? Do I pay a little extra to everyone? Or do I make minimum payments to everyone except one, who gets all the extra? How long will I continue to pay these credit cards, is there any light at the end of the debt tunnel?

I have found myself here way too many times. And I know that it is not a fun place to be. But now I have United First Financial® and the Money Merge Account® program to help. The Money Merge Account takes all the guess work away. It tells me when my bills are due, how much money I have coming in, and how much money I have going out. Then it tells me the exact amount that I need to send to my credit cards to have them paid off quickly. All $40,000 in credit cards and loans and my mortgage will be paid off in 11.5 years and save me over $100,000 in interest; interest that I will not have to pay to my mortgage company or to the creditors. It is so exciting to see a way out, to finally have hope and watch those numbers go down; closer and closer until finally I see ZERO, I think that zero is my new favorite number.

I challenge you to take a look at what the Money Merge Account can do for you. What if you could finally have hope? What if you could be DEBT FREE in less than 10 years, how would that change your life? Do you think that you would be so worried about the economy if you knew that you didn’t owe anyone and had nothing to lose? I think that is the truest form of freedom, isn’t that the American way, freedom?

It used to be that I only used my computer to check my email, do my banking, and as a storage device for my pictures. But now I am lost without my computer and internet. The things that I need to survive have change. We were taught that all we need to survive it food, water, shelter, clothing, and sunlight; but as the times have changed we have added so much more to that list; cell phone, computer, and internet.

What I find is so amazing is how easy it is to work from home nowadays, mostly thanks to the internet. I used to think that I could only communicate with people through the internet via email, then I was introduce to Videophones, which by the way are really cool and easy to use, and then I was introduce to GoToMeetingTM; an easy to use webinar service to talk to and present to clients, prospects, or family, anywhere in the world. I can even help my grandma with her computer problems via webinar, no more trying to explain where the button is that she needs to click on, or try to figure out what it is that she is trying to explain to be that is on her screen. I just log into GoToMeetingTM and she and I can see each others computer screens, it really is amazing.

GoToMeetingTM is a great way to train people that I am working with, allowing me to talk to up to 1,000 people at a time. Or I can just set up a one on one appointment with a client. It really is so easy to use. I used to have to pay almost $100 for this service, just to communicate with people through the internet, be now I get so much more for my money; thanks to United First Financial’s newest product BizPackTM. BizPackTM includes the same GoToMeetingTM that I have always been using and for only $20 more a month I get so much more; a contact manager including a great email marketing drip campaign, personal development, and UDeductTM a great way to help me track my business expenses and make sure that I don’t miss any tax deductions for my small business.

I am very excited about this new service that is available to all small business owners, there are so many ways that one could use this service to help grow their business. And to top it all off, for a limited time, there is no start up fee to use this amazing service. I challenge to check it out for yourself; you just might me amazed at what it can do for you.

Make it a great week!!!

It’s tax season, I know no new news. Every year I sit down and go through all of my receipts and organize them, type the numbers into an excel spreadsheet, add up the numbers and hope that I didn’t miss anything. Then I go to my CPA and hope that he tells me about all of the things that I can deduct and hope that he doesn’t mess up. This cycle is no fun!!

I’m so excited about next year now that I have UDeduct by United First Financial’s newest product BizPack! UDeduct tracks my expenses totaling them for me at the end of the year; it also has an analysis tool that will show me all of the available deductions that I can use for my small business.

This amazing software not only comes with UDeduct, by it also comes with a great Contact Manager, tracking my schedule and gives me access to a great drip campaign, so I can stay in touch with my clients. I can also meet with people via internet, saving me gas in my car, and wonderful personal development. This product is great, take a look for yourself; right now the fee to get started is being waived, but only until March 16th. So take a look and I hope this product will help you as much as it has helped me. www.mybizpack.com/bullseye

I wish you a wonderful week!

UFirst Alliance® on a mission to change the trend

Ah… Retirement. It’s a word that evokes images of floating lazily along in a fishing boat or perhaps spending time exploring the small corners of America, sampling the local culture and cuisine. Unfortunately, that vision is too often supplanted by harsh reality. The fact is that most Americans are financially unprepared to transition into the retirement of their dreams. More often they find themselves propelled into a retirement life of economic struggle.

An in depth Health and Retirement study at the University of Michigan finds that from 1996 onward, many retirees had saved nothing for retirement. Nearly three-fourths felt they had not saved enough, and said they would save more if they had it to do over again.

UFirst Alliance is on a mission to change this trend for as many people as possible. We have been working hard to take the information, tools and techniques that have been traditionally available to only a privileged few, and make them available to people everywhere. It’s a matter of knowledge. We’ve all heard the phrase, “Knowledge is Power” and in this case it truly is.

For example, how many average people out there understand what an annuity is and what it can do for a financial profile? UFirst Alliance strips away the veil of mystique to reveal to the every day person how exactly to harness this potential income powerhouse, but annuities are just one of the tools we educate people about.

The real power lies in the UFirst Alliance Legacy Builder system, which teaches people how to build wealth.

That dream retirement truly is possible, but in order to achieve and experience it, deliberate steps are necessary. UFirst is here to help you create that future for your clients.

Processionary caterpillars travel in long, undulating lines, one creature behind the other. Jean Hanri Fabre, the French entomologist, once lead a group of these caterpillars onto the rim of a large flowerpot so that the leader of the procession found himself nose to tail with the last caterpillar in the procession, forming a circle without end or beginning.

Through sheer force of habit and, of course, instinct, the ring of caterpillars circled the flowerpot for seven days and seven nights, until they died from exhaustion and starvation. An ample supply of food was close at hand and plainly visible, but it was outside the range of the circle, so the caterpillars continued along the beaten path.

People often behave in a similar way. Habit patterns and ways of thinking become deeply established, and it seems easier and more comforting to follow them than to cope with change, even when that change may represent freedom, achievement, and success.

If someone shouts, “Fire!” it is automatic to blindly follow the crowd, and many thousands have needlessly died because of it. How many stop to ask themselves: Is this really the best way out of here?

So many people “miss the boat” because it’s easier and more comforting to follow - to follow without questioning the qualifications of the people just ahead - than to do some independent thinking and checking.

A hard thing for most people to fully understand is that people in such numbers can be so wrong, like the caterpillars going around and around the edge of the flowerpot, with life and food just a short distance away. If most people are living that way, it must be right, they think. But a little checking will reveal that throughout all recorded history the majority of mankind has an unbroken record of being wrong about most things, especially important things. For a time we thought the earth was flat and later we thought the sun, stars, and planets traveled around the Earth. Both ideas are now considered ridiculous, but at the time they were believed and defended by the vast majority of followers. In the hindsight of history we must have looked like those caterpillars blindly following the follower out of habit rather than stepping out of line to look for the truth.

It’s difficult for people to come to the understanding that only a small minority of people ever really get the word about life, about living abundantly and successfully. Success in the important departments of life seldom comes naturally, no more naturally than success at anything - a musical instrument, sports, fly-fishing, tennis, golf, business, marriage, parenthood.

But for some reason most people wait passively for success to come to them - like the caterpillars going around in circles, waiting for sustenance, following nose to tail - living as other people are living in the unspoken, tacit assumption that other people know how to live successfully.

It’s a good idea to step out of the line every once in a while and look around to see if the line is going where we want it to go. If it is not, it might be time for a new leader and a new direction.

For those who have tried repeatedly to break a habit of some kind, only to repeatedly fail, Mary Pickford said, “Falling is not failing, unless you fail to get up.” Most people who finally win the battle over a habit they have wanted to change have done so only after repeated failures. And it’s the same with most things.

The breaking of a long-time habit does seem like the end of the road at the time - the complete cessation of enjoyment. Suddenly dropping the habit so fills our minds with the desire for the old habitual way that, for a while, it seems there will no longer be any peace, any sort of enjoyment. But that’s not true. New habits form in a surprisingly short time, and a whole new world opens up to us.

So, if you’ve been trying to start in a new direction, you might do well to remember the advice of Mary Pickford: breaking an old habit isn’t the end of the road; it’s just a bend in the road.
